If you know me, you know that I have a slight obsession with pizza. I can enjoy it in any form: by the slice, Lunchable, or pizza rolls. Well, recently I have been making my own version of pizza rolls that make me feel like more of an adult. It’s a super easy recipe and inexpensive!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Croissants
Mozzarella Cheese Sticks (cut in half)
Any pizza toppings you like (pepperoni, sausage, etc.)
*I have been trying to lower my intake of pork so I used turkey pepperoni and sausage. I used Jimmy Dean’s fully cooked sausage crumbles. Less work.
Unroll the croissants and lay them flat on a pan.
Put one cheese stick half towards the flat end of the croissant triangle.
Put your toppings of choice just below the cheese stick.
Roll up the croissants and shake a tiny bit of garlic salt on top.
Follow the directions on the croissant can for baking.
It’s that simple.
I hope you guys enjoy. I apologize for not having more pictures. They smelled so good after taking them out of the oven, I completely forgot about my blog duties.
