With gay marriage being legalized, I thought I would take the time out to talk about love.
Someone taught me something very interesting about love when I was younger, and I remember it to this day: “There is a person out there that is the perfect match for you. But this world is so big, the odds of you meeting them is very slim.”
As I’m writing this, our world population is at about 7,325,454,331 and growing. This may seem a little depressing, but I’ve learned something from it. We have to take risks while we are here on this earth. We can’t be afraid to live in the moment and express our feelings for each other.
It blows my mind that there are some people out there who actually oppose relationships that are out of the “norm.” I believe that if you are lucky enough to find another person on this planet that makes you feel complete, you should go for it. Regardless of gender, race, or even economic status. If you don’t take a chance, you could miss out on something great.
How dare we criticize others for finding happiness?
